Weekly Brazos River Outlook – Mar 07, 2022

The Brazos River is currently at Gage Elevation 9.86 feet. After a warm weekend, winter returns this week as two cold fronts push through the region. The first cold front pushed through most of the region overnight bring early morning showers. The second front should move through on Friday. With the cold fronts, our rain chances are increased to start and end the week. The 7-Day Quantitative Precipitation Forecast (QPF) is showing the lower Brazos River Watershed receiving ½  inch or less of rain over the next 7 days. Based on the current forecast, no flooding due to the Brazos River through Fort Bend County is anticipated.
