Weekly Brazos River Outlook – June 19, 2023

Currently, the Brazos River in Richmond is at Gage Elevation 11.01 feet and falling. The heat continues this week with highs around 100 degrees and low rain chances. The Region could see a slight drop in the temperatures toward the end of the week with highs in the mid- to upper 90s and rain changes between 10% to 30%. The 7-Day Quantitative Precipitation Forecast (QPF) is showing the lower Brazos River Watershed receiving less than ΒΌ inch of rain over the next 7 days. Based on the current forecast, no flooding due to the Brazos River through Fort Bend County is anticipated.
