The Brazos River is currently at Gage Elevation 9.58 feet. The WGRFC anticipates a slight rise around Gage Elevation 10 due to local rainfall but should remain relatively flat and low. We have increased rain chances today (Monday), but the remainder of the week should consist of cooler temperatures with sunny to partly cloudy skies. Rain chances could return late in the Weekend into early next week. The 7-Day Quantitative Precipitation Forecast (QPF) is showing the lower Brazos River Watershed receiving an inch or less of rain over the next 7 days. The majority of the rainfall could occur today. Based on the current forecast, no flooding due to the Brazos River through Fort Bend County is anticipated.
