Weekly Brazos River Outlook – Feb 14, 2022

The Brazos River is currently at Gage Elevation 13.22 feet and falling. The NWS anticipates mostly sunny / partly cloudy skies throughout the week. Our rain chances and risk of thunderstorms increase Wednesday / Thursday as another cold front pushes through the region. As of Monday morning, the NWS has the most severe weather staying on the northern portions of the region. Stay weather aware and stay tuned to the latest forecast updates. The 7-Day Quantitative Precipitation Forecast (QPF) is showing the lower Brazos River Watershed receiving less than ΒΌ inch rain over the next 7 days. Based on the current forecast, no flooding due to the Brazos River through Fort Bend County is anticipated.
