Weekly Brazos River Outlook – Aug 15, 2022

The Brazos River remains low and is currently at Gage Elevation 8.18 feet in Richmond. The Region will see dry/hot conditions to start the week due to an area of high pressure. The weather conditions shift toward the end of the week bringing cooler temperatures and increased rain chances. The 7-Day Quantitative Precipitation Forecast (QPF) is showing the lower Brazos River Watershed receiving between 0.5 to 1.25 inches of rainfall over the next 7 days. Based on the current forecast, no flooding due to the Brazos River through Fort Bend County is anticipated.
