Our warm, mild winter continues as we start the week with sunny to mostly sunny skies. We are expecting another cold front to push through the region late tonight. This will bring Tuesdayb s high temperatures in the mid to upper 60s and lows in the upper 30s. After Tuesday/Wednesday morning, our temperatures will gradually work their way back to the mid to upper 70s as we approach the weekend until our next cold front. Ahead of our next cold front, the NWS is watching the potential for severe storms to develop across portions of southeast Texas, East Texas, Louisiana, and southern Arkansas. Based on the forecasts, the most severe weather is located north-northeast of Fort Bend County, but much of the watershed, including Fort Bend County, is within the 15% severe weather probability area. The current precipitation forecasts are showing between B= to 1 inch of rainfall across the greater Houston area with Fort Bend County and portions of the lower Brazos River watershed receiving between B< and B> inches of rainfall.
