Dear LID 14 Resident:
In 2019, the LID 14 Board of Directors took several measures to simplify the taxpaying process and save LID residents, like you, taxes. For example, the LID 14 Board of Directors voted to use the Fort Bend County Tax Assessor-Collector to collect LID taxes, saving LID residents money and consolidating your tax bill. As a result, your LID 14 taxes were included on your tax bill from Fort Bend County for 2019. You will not receive a separate bill from LID 14, since all your taxes were consolidated on your bill from the County. To obtain a copy of your bill, please contact the Fort Bend County Tax Assessor-Collector at 281-342-3411.
Additionally, the LID 14 Board of Directors cut taxes. The Board set a new tax rate for the tax year 2019 of $0.15 on each $100 of assessed valuation of taxable property within the district, down from $0.2095 for the previous tax year. As a result, you will experience a decrease of over 30% from last year in taxes payable to the LID. You will notice these savings on your 2019 tax bill from the Fort Bend County Tax Assessor-Collector.
