Weekly Brazos River Outlook – July 26, 2021

Over the weekend, the Brazos River in Richmond has dropped below Action Stage. Currently, the Brazos River in Richmond is at Gage Elevation 19.18 feet and falling. The National Weather Service is calling for hot, mostly dry weather through Friday. We do have increased rain chances Tuesday and Wednesday, but rainfall amounts are low. The 7-Day Quantitative Precipitation Forecast (QPF) showing the lower Brazos River Watershed receiving less the ΒΌ inch of rain over the next 7 days. Based on the current forecast, no flooding due to the Brazos River through Fort Bend County is anticipated.
